Title: Assistant Women's Basketball Coach

Shawn Ginnan begins his first season as an Assistant Coach for the Express women's basketball program.  He joins the Owens program with 14 years of basketball coaching experience, which includes serving as a Head Coach for eight years.  During that time, Ginnan served as the Varsity Girl's Head Basketball Coach at Gibsonburg High School for seven years, amassing an overall 99-67 record.  He also was Varsity Girl's Head Basketball coach at Otsego High School for one year.  His accolades include "The Blade," "Suburban Press" and Associated Press District 4 Coach of the Year awards.  The Rossford High School graduate also was chosen to coach in the Fostoria Boosters/Time Warner Cablevision all-star basketball game in 2001.  Ginnan, a Perrysburg resident, works as a Paraprofessional for the Wood County Educational Service Center in Bowling Green.
