Owens career: In 2006-07, Gerhardt earned OCCAC Academic All-Conference honors. In 31 games, she averaged 5.1 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks for the Express.

High School: 2006 South Milwaukee High School graduate, South Milwaukee, Wis., where she was Honorable Mention All-Southeast Conference and team MVP. She also was a three-year Future Collegiate League participant and was voted the most dominate post player by the Blueprint All-Star Showcase. Gerhardt also was an honor roll student and participated in volleyball.
