Owens career: In 2006-07, she was named the team's co-Coaches Award recipient. She averaged 3.2 points and four rebounds in 30 games played.

High School: 2006 Bolingbrook High School graduate, Bolingbrook, Ill., where she was Honorable Mention All-Area and an Honor Roll student. Coates was also a member of the volleyball team.
