Christa Strube is in her fourth year as an assistant coach for the Express women's basketball program. A graduate of Jefferson High School, she earned her associate's degree from Owens in 2002. Strube was a member of Owens' very successful women's basketball program from 2000-02. She was a team captain and earned OCCAC Academic All-Conference honors.

After graduating from Owens, Strube attended Alderson-Broaddus College, where she served as team captain of the Battler's women's basketball team. 

She earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology. Strube will graduate in December 2007 with a master's degree in Kinesiology from Bowling Green State University. She currently is an Adjunct Faculty member at Owens and BGSU and resides in Toledo.
