Overview: Floyd played a reserve role for the Express last season while recovering from an injury.

Owens career: Floyd scored 28 points while playing in 16 games last year. She had 15 rebounds, two steals and one block. She was named to the OCCAC All-Academic team and won the Coaches Award.

Prior to Owens: Floyd starred at Anthony Wayne High School, where she was All-Northern Lakes League First Team, team MVP and team captain, as well as All-NLL Second Team and Honorable Mention her sophomore and junior seasons.

She was named a Toledo Blade Athlete of the Week. Her greatest personal sports thrill was helping Anthony Wayne win its first NLL girls basketball title. She also played volleyball, where she earned All-Northwest District Second Team, All-NLL Second Team and was named the Coaches Award recipient. She was a team captain and a member of the senior All-Academic team.
