Prior to Owens: Foster played at Lima Shawnee and earned All-Northwest District First Team and All-Western Buckeye League Second Team honors while aslo being named to the Lima News Dream Team. her greatest sports thrill was winning a Western Buckeye League championship in basketball. She also ran track where she was a state qualifier in the 100 meter in 2009 and a three-time state qualifier in the 800 and 400 meter relays.
