She finished 9-for-24 from the field and matched her point total from the previous four games behind. Coincidentally enough, she was coming off her first scoreless game of the season.

Roseboro, playing in front of her hometown and in just her third game this year, had season-highs in points (13), rebounds (12) and assists (5).

Ward had a career-high 13 points, a career-high 18 rebounds and a career-high five blocks. She also tied her season-high with two steals.

Tonight was the highest scoring output of the season for Owens, and their highest since a 118-33 win over Lakeland Community College on Jan. 23, 2013. The previous season-high was 101 vs Kellogg Community College on Nov. 11.

Tonight's win also snapped a two-game losing streak for Owens, which hadn't occurred since Nov. 23-24, 2012.

Lorain County, who had Onyx Lopez (19) and Angel Blakely (12) combine for 31 of the team's 50 points, fell to 5-9 overall and 0-4 in Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) play.

As a team, Owens fell nine points shy of tying the single game scoring record, but their 108 field goal attempts broke the old record of 97 set Dec. 16, 2009 against Alpena Community College. They also fell four made field goals shy of tying that school record. However, they did tie the single game record for rebounds with 75, which was also reached on Feb. 3, 2010 vs Cuyahoga Community College.

Individually, Gulley's 13 3-point field goal attempts was one short of tying three other players for the single game record. Reese's 21 rebounds was one shy of tying Karahn Scott's record from Jan. 20, 2013 against Edison Community College.

Owens finished 44-for-108 from the field (14-for-31 from 3-point range) and 14-for-26 from the foul line.
