Jessica Lewis spent three seasons as an assistant coach for the Owens women's basketball program from 2010-13.

In her three years, the program achieved a 80-19 record. In her tenure, the program won two OCCAC championships, one district championship and made one appearance at the national tournament.

In 2009-10, Lewis served as the varsity girls basketball assistant coach at her alma mater, Toledo Central Catholic High School.

The University of Michigan graduate started four years for the Wolverines and scored nearly 1,000 career points and ranks 4th in Michigan history in career 3-point field goals made. As a senior captain, she was named All-Big Ten and team MVP.

Lewis is currently a Title 1 teacher at Lake Erie Academy in Toledo, Ohio. She is married to former Owens men's basketball assistant coach Travis Lewis, and they have one son, Travis Lewis Jr.
