Ocelots Derail Express Once Again

Livonia, MI.---The Owens Express women's soccer team gave up two goals to Schoolcraft's Lauren Badalamente in the match's first 12 minutes en route to a 4-0 loss on the road Wednesday.

Badalamente has scored twice in each of the two matchups between Owens and Schoolcraft this season.

Schoolcraft's Kayla Szado and Renee Boudreau scored in the second half to complete the scoring. Assists for the Ocelots came from Badalamente, Sam Zerilla, Emily Benhnke and Alejandra Mesa.

Shara Williams (Springfield/Holland, Ohio) started in goal for the Express.

Schoolcraft College moves to 10-0 this year, while Owens falls to 6-4.

The next action for the Express is Sunday at 1 p.m. on the road against Ohio Northern University's club team.
