Elyria, OH - The Owens Express women's soccer team has shown they can score and they have shown they can hold teams scoreless. The evidence was further presented on Wednesday as they posted an 11-0 win over host Lorain County Community College.

Just 3:12 into the game, Kendra Eitniear (Swanton/Swanton, Ohio) put the Express on the board. Less than 90 seconds later, Haley Gasser (Northview/Sylvania, Ohio) added some cushion. Owens then continued the onslaught by scoring four goals in the first 10 minutes and nine goals in the first 25 minutes of the first half.

Through four games, Owens has outscored its opponents 31-2, including a 10-0 win over Kellogg Community College on Sunday.

Eitniear led the way against Lorain County with four goals, while Marissa Szabo (Southview/Sylvania, Ohio) had three goals and three assists. That duo has combined for 20 goals through four games.

Jaime Sesock (Holly/Davisburg, Mich.) added three goals, Alyvia Lieber (Maumee/Maumee, Ohio) had three assists, and Gasser finished with one goal and two assists.

The Express (3-1) will face a stiff challenge in their next game as they travel to Cincinnati, Ohio to take on No. 13-ranked Cincinnati State Community College at 3 p.m. Saturday. Following that, they return home Sunday to take on Delta College at 1 p.m.
