Lieber and Roumaya Help Express Roll Past Kellogg

Battle Creek, MI---The Owens Express women's soccer team defeated Kellogg Community College 7-1 on the road Wednesday behind Alyvia Lieber's (Maumee/Maumee, Ohio) three-goal game.

It was a single game career high in goals for Lieber.

Marissa Szabo (Southview/Sylvania, Ohio) and Kendra Eitniear (Swanton/Swanton, Ohio) each added two goals for the Express, who also got three assists from Amanda Roumaya (Whitmer/Toledo, Ohio).

Shara Williams (Springfield/Holland, Ohio) started in goal for the Express and saved four shots on goal.

The win completes a season sweep of the Bruins for the Express, who defeated Kellogg 10-0 on Sept. 4.

The Express (8-4) will battle Indiana Tech University JV at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at home.
