2012: After suffering an injury in the season's second game on Aug. 29, Grindle returned to action on Sept. 28 against Indiana Tech JV. In only 10 games (nine starts), she produced six goals and three assists, which put her fourth on the team in scoring. She should be an integral part of the Express offense as a sophomore.

Prior to Owens: Grindle was named the NWOSSL district player of the year as a senior, as well as First Team All-NWOSSL, First Team All-Northwest District and OSSCA Second Team All-Ohio. She played for head coach Monte Bandeen at Northwood.

Personal: Jessica is the daughter of Jerry and Michelle Grindle. She has one brother, Justin.
