2012: Zurvalec joined the team midseason and played a reserve role. She started a couple games, as well.

Prior to Owens: Zurvalec is a 2012 graduate of Oak Harbor High School, where she played the midfield position for the Rockets soccer team. She played for head coach Renee Goldstien. Academically, she was one of 54 students to receive the Outstanding Student Award.

Personal: Kelly is the daughter of Frank and Jil Zurvalec. She has three sisters, Danielle, Abby and Maggie.
