Ada, OH---The Express women's soccer team couldn't muster a goal, but their defense also held Ohio Northern's JV team scoreless as the two teams finished in a scoreless tie on Thursday.
The closest either team came to a goal is when Ohio Northern put one in the net midway through the second half, but it was called off due to an offsides call.
The Express (5-2-2, 4-1-1 Region XII) will now host Delta College (6-2-0, 5-1-0 Region XII) at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Along with Schoolcraft College (6-3-1, 3-1-1 Region XII), the three teams are vying for postseason seeding.
Delta defeated the Express 2-1 on Sept. 12, while Owens defeated Schoolcraft 1-0 on Aug. 29.
