2013: Burkholder capped an All-American two-year career at Owens with 13 goals and eight assists as a sophomore. She totaled 21 goals and 17 assists, along with 59 points, in her two-year career. She capped her sophomore campaign by earned NJCAA All-Region XII Tournament Team, NSCAA All-Central Region and NSCAA First Team All-American.

During that sophomore year, she started 19 of 20 games played, while tallying a season-high two goals on three occasions. She had a season-high two assists on Sept. 15 against Indiana Tech JV, while either scoring or assisting on at least one goal in 15 matches. She finished second on the team in goals scored, second on the team in assists and second on the team in scoring (34 points).

Burkholder is one of seven players to record three assists in one game, which she achieved during her freshman year. On Oct. 23 of her sophomore year, she scored twice directly off corner kicks and reached 20 career goals.

2012: Burkholder nearly led the team in scoring as she finished second with 25 points on eight goals and nine assists. Her assist total was a team-high, while her goal total was second on the team. She tied a single game program record with three assists against Mercyhurst North East on Sept. 2. She started all 18 games for the Express and was named First Team All-Region XII following the season.

Prior to Owens: Burkholder, a four-year letterwinner in soccer, was a First Team All-NWOAL selection as a senior. As a junior, she was First Team All-District, Second Team All-Ohio, and the team's offensive MVP. Also an NSCAA All-Region selection, she was a big part of Bryan's seven consecutive sectional titles. She played for coach Jeffe Wildenburg.

Personal: Jill is the daughter of Jeff and Mary Burkholder. She has three siblings - Danny, Jackie and Susan.
