Express Women's Soccer Achieves Highest National Ranking in Program's History

Toledo, Ohio---The Express women's soccer team, fresh off a regional championship, has moved up to No. 13 in the latest National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) D-I poll.

It is the highest ranking in program history, topping the previous mark of No. 14 from last season.

The Express currently sit at 17-2 overall and have won 15 straight matches. During that streak, they have outscored opponents 63-9, while allowing one or fewer goals in 14 of those with seven shutouts.

In the Region XII tournament, they posted back-to-back 2-0 shutouts over Delta College and Cincinnati State Technical and Community College to win the program's first regional title.

In doing so, the Express advanced to the NJCAA D-I National Tournament in Melbourne, Fla. Nov 18-23. The tournament opens with a pool play round and the Express will find out who they play next week.
