Toledo, Ohio---The Express women's soccer program received great news yesterday as it was announced that the team is ranked 10th in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/Continental Tire Division I JUCO poll.

The poll, which was announced as the final postseason poll for the 2013 season, features the Express with their highest ranking in program history. They jumped 10 spots from the previous, end of regular season ranking.

Also in the top 10 are two teams that the Express battled to penalty kicks in the national tournament - Butler (KS) Community College at No. 4 and Darton (GA) State College at No. 6.

Iowa Western Community College, who won the national title this past year, is the No. 1 ranked team.

The Express women's soccer team, who battled Butler and Darton to a 3-way tie in pool play at the national tournament before losing in an unprecedented one-day, mini-game playoff, completed the best season in program history this past year. The team finished 17-2-2, captured a program record 15 straight wins, won the program's first Region XII tournament championship and advanced to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) D-I National Tournament for the first time.
