Toledo, Ohio---Chelsie Randolph (Start/Toledo, Ohio), a sophomore for the Owens Community College women's soccer team, has been named the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I goalkeeper of the week.

Randolph produced a pair of shutouts last week in wins over Delta College and Ancilla College. On Friday, she stopped all eight shots she faced in a 2-0 win before her team defeated Ancilla 7-0 on Sunday.

It was the eighth and ninth career shutouts for the 5'5" Randolph, who has played every minute in goal for Owens this year. She has made 32 saves with 10 goals against.

Randolph and Owens are 3-2 overall. They have won three straight entering today's match against Schoolcraft College.

The award is the first for an Owens goalkeeper since Erika Brinkman (Kalida/Cloverdale, Ohio) won the award Oct. 17, 2013.
