@OwensExpress Women's Soccer Falls 8-0 To No. 17 Schoolcraft

Toledo, Ohio---The No. 17 Schoolcraft College women's soccer team posted an 8-0 shutout victory over Owens Community College today.

Shae van Gassen put Schoolcraft on the board just under two minutes into the game. Samantha Alatto then scored 45 seconds later as Schoolcraft eventually took a 5-0 lead into halftime.

The visitors added three more goals in the second half to complete the shutout.

Owens had two shots on goal from Jermima Job (Lincoln College/Nottinghamshire, U.K.) and one shot on goal from Jessica Kreger (Bedford/Temperance, Mich.).

In goal, Chelsie Randolph (Start/Toledo, Ohio) stopped eight shots for Owens.

Owens is now 3-3 overall. They will be back in action Saturday at home against Lake Michigan College at 1 p.m.

Schoolcraft improved to 5-0 with the win.
