Caitlyn Theaker spent two seasons as an assistant coach in the Owens women's soccer program. After her second year, she briefly took over the duties of interim head coach in March 2014. She then left the program in the summer of 2014 to pursue a master's degree out of state.

She helped lead the Express to a 13-2-3 overall record in her first year and a 17-2-2 record in 2013. In her two years, the team went 30-4-5.

In 2013-14, Theaker helped lead the team to the program's first Region XII tournament championship, a school record 15 straight wins and the program's first NJCAA D-I National Tournament appearance.

Theaker came to Owens after four years with the Findlay University women's soccer team. While there, Theaker was named to the GLIAC All-Academic team her senior year and was the assistant coach for Findlay Soccer Club. She graduated in 2012 with an associates of personal training and a bachelors of strength and conditioning.

Prior to that, Theaker went to Maumee HS, where she twice qualified for the state championship in cross country.
