Fred Aubuchon returns for his third season at Owens Community College after leading the Express to back-to-back national championship appearances. In his first two seasons, he compiled a 43-41 record and received five Coach of the Year awards - including OCCAC Coach of the Year in 1997.

For the past two years, he has coached USA volleyball junior programs in the Toledo area. This past year, his 15 club (P.P.V.C.) team won six of nine tournament events including the Ohio Valley Regional Championships. During the summers, Aubuchon administers camps for Advanced Volleyball Performance. He has a bachelor's degree of applied arts from Central Michigan University and a master's degree of education and allied professions from the University of Toledo.
