Fred Aubuchon returns for his fifth season at Owens Community College after leading the Express to a third place finish at the 1999 NJCAA D-III National Championship - a repeat of 1998. Coach Aubuchon has compiled a 106-69 record and received nine "Coach of the Year" awards - including OCCAC "Coach of the Year) in 1997.

For the past four years, he has been very involved in USA volleyball junior programs in the Toledo area, primarily the Perrysburg Premier Volleyball Club. In the summer, he administers and directs camps for Advance Volleyball Performance (AVP camps). He holds a bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University and a master's degree from the University of Toledo.
