Owens Career: In 2001, she played in 61 games and recorded 72 digs, 18 kills and 10 aces.

High School: 2001 Delta High School graduate, Delta, Ohio, where she was a two-time Honorable Mention All-Northwest Ohio Athletic League selection and named the team's Best Offensive Player as a junior and Best Defensive Player as a senior.  She also was Honorable Mention All-NWOAL, team MVP and Coaches Award recipient in track, as well as a member of the basketball team.
