Owens Career: In 2001, she played in 55 games and recorded 43 kills and 13 blocks.

High School: 2001 Pandora-Gilboa High School graduate, Pandora, Ohio, where she was First Team and Honorable Mention All-Blanchard Valley Conference, First Team All-Putnam County League and First Team All-District.  In addition, she also earned All-Academic BVC and PCL honors, as well as being named the team's Most Improved Player and MVP.  She also received several honors as a member of the softball and track high school teams.
