Owens Career: In 2009, she played in 13 of the 52 matches and made 19 digs.

High School: 2009 Eastwood High School graduate, Pemberville, Ohio, where she was Honorable Mention All-Suburban Lakes League and the recipient of the Serving Award.  LaVoy, and Honor Roll student, also earned the All-District Academic Award and was an Honorable Mention All-SLL selection in softball.
