Alison Mugler begins her second year as an assistant coach with the Express women's volleyball program. In 2009, she earned a bachelor's degree in organizational communication from Murray State University. While at Murray State, Mugler was a member of the volleyball team and earned Ohio Valley Conference All-Newcomer Team and All-Tournament Team honors. The St. Ursula Academy graduate was a First Team All-City League, All-District and All-Ohio selection in volleyball and helped her team to a high school state championship in 2004. The Maumee resident also was a member of the Toledo Volleyball Club and previously served as an eighth grade girl's assistant coach at St. Joan of Arc in Toledo.
