2010-11: Comes was named to the First Team All-OCCAC, NJCAA All-Region XII, and NJCAA All-Region XII Tournament teams, while also being named the team's Defensive MVP last year. She accumulated 942 digs, 166 sets, 56 points, 43 aces, 13 kills and 13 assists while also being an OCCAC Player of the Week recipient. Her dig total is the second highest in a single season for the volleyball program, and she currently has fifth most in a career.

Prior to Owens: Comes garnered First Team All-Northern Lakes League honors her sophomore, junior, and senior seasons and was First Team All-District 7 her junior and senior years under head coach Jessica Weiss. At the BGSU camp, she earned the Hustle Award her freshman year, Best Passer Award her sophomore and senior years, and MVP her junior year. Comes was also an honor roll student her first three years at Southview. She lists winning the 16 and under Mid East Qualifier during her last year of club volleyball as her greatest personal sports thrill, along with the trip to nationals last season.

Personal: Ellie is the daughter of Robert and Lynn Comes. She is a pre-physical therapy major at Owens.
