2010-11: Egbert had a dominating freshman year as she was named First Team All-OCCAC, OCCAC Player of the Year, NJCAA All-Region XII, NJCAA Region XII All-Tournament, NJCAA All-Region XII Tournament MVP, and NJCAA Div. II Second Team All-American. She was named the team's MVP and Offensive MVP while accumulating 695.5 points, 520 kills, 281 digs, 175 sets, 161 blocks, 81 aces and 27 assists. Her kill total is the third most in a single season, her ace total is the eighth most, and her block total is the 13th most. Moreover, she earned OCCAC Player of the Week honors last year.

Prior to Owens: Egbert helped lead Hopewell-Loudon to the state final four her senior year under head coach Erin Dircksen, which she lists as her greatest personal sports thrill. While at Hopewell-Loudon, she earned First Team All-MAL, First Team All-District, First Team All-Ohio, and MAL Player of the Year honors her senior year, First Team All-MAL, First Team All-District, and MAL Co-Player of the Year honors her junior year, First Team All-MAL, First Team All-District, and Honorable Mention All-Ohio her sophomore year, and Second Team All-MAL her freshman year. As a basketball player, Egbert was a First Team All-MAL and Second Team All-District selection.

Personal: Brittany is the daughter of Mike and Sue Egbert. She is a pre-physical therapy major at Owens.
