2010-11: Schatzle earned First Team All-OCCAC and NJCAA Region XII All-Tournament Team honors last year while accumulating 929 assists, 317 digs, 293 points, 213 kills, 180 sets, 57 blocks and 46 aces. She lists her greatest personal sports thrill as going to the national tournament last season. Academically, Schatzle was named to the OCCAC Academic All-Conference team last year with a 3.39 grade point average.

Prior to Owens: Schatzle earned Honorable Mention All-Michigan, First Team All-Region, First Team All-Southeastern Conference, and All-Monroe Evening News honors during her career at Monroe. Additionally, she was a member of the varsity tennis team her junior and senior seasons.

Personal: Erin is the daughter of Ron and Cindy Schatzle. Two sisters - Megan and Ashley - were members of the volleyball team at Michigan State University. Ashley was an ESPN Academic All-American as a Spartan. She is an early childhood education major at Owens.
