2012 stats

2012: Yates saw action in all 48 matches as a freshman. She totaled 105 kills, 13 assists, six service aces, 76 digs, 10 solo blocks and 76 assisted blocks.

Prior to Owens: Yates was a three year varsity starter at Bowsher HS, where she was named First Team All-City, City League Player of the Year and Honorable Mention All-District 7. She played for coach Anita Keonig. Academically, she was a City League Academic Athlete, a National Honor Society member and a Principals Honor Roll selection all four years.

Personal: Dominique is the daughter of Kirk and Amy Yates. She has two siblings - Amanda and Conor Yates.
