Kleinhenz, No. 5 Express Volleyball Wins 4th Straight, Stays Undefeated In OCCAC

Toledo, OH---The No. 5 Express volleyball team withstood a solid effort from Sinclair Community College to sweep the Tartan Pride 25-22, 25-14, 25-20 in the SHAC today.

The final set was tied at 19 before the Express pulled away.

Molly Hilfinger had 34 assists - one night after her 29 assists against Edison Community College. Lisa Urbanski (16) and Alyssa Meis (14) led the team in digs, while Dakia Sellers had 10 kills. Meis and Jazmine Thomas each added seven kills.

Meis had two of the team's four service aces, Thomas had both solo blocks, and Sellers had four of the team's 10 assisted blocks.

With the win, Owens improves to 13-3 overall and 3-0 in the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC). They are scheduled to take on Cuyahoga Community College at 6 p.m. on Wednesday in the SHAC.

As a team, the Express have the second most kills in the nation...With her 10 blocks today, Sellers takes over the lead with the nation's most kills, while Meis is just behind her in second... Urbanski is second in the nation in digs...Thomas and Sellers are second and third, respectively, in the nation in assisted blocks, while Thomas is fourth in solo blocks...Sellers leads the nation in points.
