Wirick's 20 Assists Lead No. 4 Express Volleyball to Sweep of Lorain County

Elyria, OH---The No. 4 Express volleyball team opened up conference play with a 3-0 sweep of Lorain County Community College.

The sweep marked the fourth straight three set match - all victories - for the Express.

Stephanie Kipp led the way in kills with 10, while Jazmine Thomas had nine and Kenzie Kleinhenz had five. Ciarra Wirick led the team in assists with 20, while Jessica Cooper had 17.

In digs, Lisa Urbanski led the way with eight, while Aricka LaVoy added seven and Wirick had five.

In blocks, Kleinhenz (6), Dominique Yates (4) and Thomas (4) led the team.

Notes

The Express (5-6 overall, 1-0 Ohio Community College Athletic Conference) will be off until Sept. 11 when they host OCCAC foe Lakeland Community College beginning at 5 p.m. in the SHAC. The match will be broadcast on local TV station, BCSN.
