Thomas Stuffs Cuyahoga as Express Volleyball Wins in Straight Sets

Cleveland, OH---Jazmine Thomas had eight blocks to lead the Express volleyball team to a 25-21, 25-10, 25-12 win over Cuyahoga Community College today.

Six players added at least five kills for the Express, who were led by Kenzie Kleinhenz and Kayla Siefker with five each.

Siefker and Lisa Urbanski each had two aces, while Urbanski led the team with 11 digs.

Jessica Cooper (17) and Ciarra Wirick (10) led the team in assists.

Notes

The Express are now 8-7 overall and 3-1 in the OCCAC. They will travel to Champaign, IL this weekend (Sept. 21-22) to take part in four matches as part of the Parkland Invitational.

Six of the blocks by Thomas were solo blocks.
