Urbanski Named OCCAC Volleyball Player of the Week

Toledo, OH---Lisa Urbanski, a sophomore libero for the Express volleyball team, has been named the OCCAC volleyball player of the week.

The award is for the week ending Sept. 22.

Urbanski totaled 87 digs over five matches this past week, including matchups against No. 2 Parkland College and No. 5 Illinois Central. In her team's lone OCCAC match against Cuyahoga, Urbanski totaled 11 digs. 

In this past weekend's Parkland (IL) Invitational, she totaled 76 digs over four matches. For the week, Urbanski also had two aces and one kill along with her dig total.

The award is the second of Urbanski's career. She also won player of the week once as a freshman.

The Express are currently 9-10 overall and 3-1 in OCCAC play. They are scheduled to take on Edison Community College on Sept. 27.
