Balanced Attack Leads Express Volleyball Past Cuyahoga on "Dig Pink" Night

Toledo, OH---The Express volleyball team swept Cuyahoga Community College in straight sets in the SHAC tonight to pick up their third straight win. 

Bailey Dangler and Tiffani Hobbs each had eight kills to lead the team, while Ciarra Wirick and Jessica Cooper each had a team-high 19 assists. Lisa Urbanski led the team with 22 digs, Kennedy Geyman had three aces and Hobbs had a team-high three blocks.

Notes

The Express are now 14-16 overall and 7-3 in OCCAC play. Their next action will be on the road this weekend in the Kishwaukee (IL) Invitational. The team is scheduled to play in four matches on Friday and Saturday.

It was "Dig Pink" night as players, coaches and fans raised awareness for breast cancer research. The Express volleyball players and coaches wore pink, and there was a pink game ball, which was raffled off after the match.
