Cincinnati, OH---The Express volleyball team swept Cincinnati State Technical and Community College 25-17, 25-21, 25-22 in their regular season finale tonight.

Ciarra Wirick (Benjamin Logan/West Liberty, OH) had a solid all-around performance for the Express with nine kills, 14 assists, one ace and four blocks.

Kenzie Kleinhenz (St. Henry/St. Henry, OH) led the Express in kills with 10, while Jessica Cooper (Brandywine/Niles, Mich.) led the team in assists with 20. Aricka LaVoy (Eastwood/Pemberville, OH) had a team-high two aces, Lisa Urbanski (Notre Dame Academy/Toledo, OH) had a team-high 15 digs and Wirick's block total was a team-high.

Kennedy Geyman (Jefferson/Monroe, Mich.) added 10 digs.

The Express finished the regular season with a 20-19 overall record, including an 8-4 record in OCCAC play. They will open Region XII District E tournament play on Friday against Schoolcraft College at 6 p.m. The double-elimination, eight-team tournament will be held in Grand Rapids, Mich.
