2014: Kipp tallied 158 kills (sixth on the team), 68 blocks (fourth on the team), 46 digs, 11 assists and one ace as a sophomore despite missing 11 matches due to injury. She closed her two-year career with 417 kills, 129 digs, 114 blocks, 15 assists and three aces. In postseason play, she stepped her game up and produced three consecutive matches of double digit kills to close her career. She averaged 8.5 kills per match over four postseason matches.

2013: Kipp produced 259 kills, four assists, two aces, 83 digs and 46 blocks (16 solo) as a freshman. Her kill total was third on the team.

Prior to Owens: Kipp starred at Ida High School in Monroe, MI, where she was a two-time First Team All-LCAA selection, a two-time Class B All-Region selection and a two-time Third Team Class B All-Michigan selection. Also, as a senior, Kipp was one of 17 players named to the Monroe Evening News All-Region team, and she was named the team's Offensive Player of the Year.

During her career, she ranks high in seven school records: third in career attempts (2,346), third in kills for a season (375), second in kills for a career (1,005), third in blocks for a season (85), second in career blocks (255), third in career service receive percentage (92 percent) and second in most career games played (405).

Outside of Ida, she was a member of the Borderline Volleyball Club from 2009-11, the High Performance Lakeshore Region Club in 2011 and the Toledo Volleyball Club from 2011 and on. In the Toledo Volleyball Club, Kipp made the top ranked 17-and-under national team, and she helped lead the team to a third place finish among 48 teams at the USAV National in Columbus, OH in her first year.

In the summer after her sophomore year, Kipp was invited to attend the High Performance regional training camp at Western Michigan University, where she was one of ten players chosen to play at the High Performance Nationals in Arizona. While there, she helped her team to a bronze medal in the National Gold division behind Florida and Hawaii.

She played for head coach Bree Rossow at Ida.

Personal: Stephanie is the daughter of Chris and Denise Kipp. She has one brother, Zachary, and one sister, Natalie.
