Dayton, Ohio---Macy Reigelsperger (Coldwater/Coldwater, Ohio) and Erika Hartings (Coldwater, Ohio) each had 13 kills as the No. 9 Owens Community College women's volleyball team posted a season-high .353 hitting percentage in a 25-14, 25-20, 25-10 sweep of Sinclair Community College on the road tonight.

The match, which marked the beginning of Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) play for Owens, also featured a season-high 29 digs from Brooke Gyori (Clay/Oregon, Ohio). Furthermore, Ally Mikesell (St. Henry/St. Henry, Ohio) had a career-high 21 digs.

Annie Lindeman (Ottoville/Ottoville, Ohio), who had six kills and zero errors combined with Mikesell (8 kills, 0 errors) for a total of 14 kills with no errors. Lindeman hit .545, while Mikesell hit .667.

Reigelsperger totaled 13 kills, two assists, nine digs and three blocks (one solo), while Hartings produced 13 kills and five digs. Reigelsperger also hit. 385.

En route to its season high .353 hitting percentage, Owens produced 53 kills and only 11 errors in 119 attempts. Aside from Reigelsperger and Hartings totaling 26 kills, Taylor Purcell (Bedford/Temperance, Mich.) added eight kills.

Deanna Smith (Riverview/Riverview, Mich.) and Christine Tylutki (Monroe/Monroe, Mich.) led the team in assists with 27 and 21, respectively. While Gyori and Mikesell had 29 and 21 digs, respectively, Tylutki also tied her season-high with 10 digs.

Lindeman had the team's lone service ace. Tylutki and Reigelsperger led the team in blocks with three apiece.

Owens is now 8-3 overall and 1-0 in OCCAC play, while Sinclair is 3-5 overall and 0-2 in OCCAC play. They will have a quick turnaround as they will host Edison Community College at 12 p.m. tomorrow.
