Toledo, Ohio---The No. 9 Owens Community College women's volleyball team cruised to a 25-15, 25-14, 25-9 victory over Clark State Community College in the Student Health and Activities Center (SHAC) tonight.

Macy Reigelsperger (Coldwater/Coldwater, Ohio) only hit. 172, but produced a team-high 10 kills. Ashley Pleiman (Fort Loramie/Fort Loramie, Ohio) added six kills over eight chances, while Erika Hartings (Coldwater/Coldwater, Ohio) and Tyanna Smith (Bowling Green/Bowling Green, Ohio) each chipped in five.

Deanna Smith (Riverview/Riverview, Mich.) led the team with 26 assists, and Christine Tylutki (Monroe/Monroe, Mich.) added 11.

Samantha Reer (St. Paul/Norwalk, Ohio), Deanna Smith and Hartings each combined for the team's three aces.

Brooke Gyori (Clay/Oregon, Ohio) and Ally Mikesell (St. Henry/St. Henry, Ohio) led the team in digs with 16 and 11, respectively, although Deanna Smith and Reigelsperger each added six.

Pleiman (two solo), Abigail Hesselschwardt (Otsego/Grand Rapids, Ohio) (one solo) and Hargings (one solo) led the team with three blocks each.

Owens hit .258 to get back on track after the program's season-high 18 match winning streak was snapped against St. Clair County Community College this past weekend.

Owens is now 33-6 overall. They will look to cap a perfect Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) season on Friday when they travel to Cincinnati State Technical and Community College for a 6 p.m. matchup.

Notes

Reigelsperger is now on the verge of eclipsing 1,000 career kills. The sophomore sits at 987. She is also 13 kills away from back-to-back 500 or more kill seasons. Furthermore, she is just nine digs away from 500 in her career.

Deanna Smith is now just five assists away from 1,500 in her career. Her six digs tonight also put her past the 400 mark in her career.
