New Bremen, Ohio---Devon Heitkamp, a 6'1" middle blocker from New Bremen High School in New Bremen, Ohio, has signed a letter of intent to play volleyball at Owens Community College next year.

Heitkamp was named First Team All-Midwest Athletic Conference (MAC), First Team All-District 8 and Second Team All-Ohio this past season after totaling 32 aces, 269 kills, 61 blocks and 266 digs. She led New Bremen to a 16-9 record and an appearance in the Division IV regional finals.

"Devon is a natural middle who goes pin to pin to block," said Owens Community College assistant coach Denny Caldwell. "She can dominate the net with her offensive power. To be able to do that and also play back row and defense speaks to the level of her ability."

In her career at New Bremen, Heitkamp had 705 kills, 487 digs, 206 blocks, 67 aces and 44 assists.

Other awards include: four-year varsity letter winner, Third Team All-Ohio (junior year), OHSVCA All-Star Match Participant (senior year), First Team All-MAC (junior year), Second Team All-MAC (sophomore year), First Team All-District 8 (junior year), District 8 Senior All-Star game participant, Ohio High School Coaches Association Elite Camp participant (sophomore through senior year), NKTelco and Tri-Star Impact Player of the Game.
