Eisenhauer Named OCCAC Player of the Week

Toledo, OH -- It did not take long for sophomore Michaela Eisenhauser to pick up where she left off after the 2017 volleyball season. On Monday evening, Eisenhauer was named the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) Player of the Week for Division III.

The Castalia, OH native was at the top of her game during the Express's trip to the Waubonsee Invitational this weekend. Eisenhauser was instrumental in the team's 3-1 record over the weekend. She scored 40 points for the and she also averaged 2.31 digs per set as well during the tournament. This is the first such award for her during her career at Owens. 

Eisenhauer and her teammates will have a busy week ahead. On Wednesday, the Express will welcome in Lorain County on Wednesday at 6:00 PM in the Student Health and Activities Center. Then on the weekend, Owens will host their annual invitational, where they will play five matches between Friday and Saturday.
