Title: Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach

Alex Gbur completed her first and only season an assistant women's volleyball coach at Owens Community College in 2014.

She helped coach the team to a 34-11 overall record, including a 12-2 record in OCCAC play which was good for second place. The team's season ended in the Region XII District E loser's bracket finals. Following the season, the team produced four All-OCCAC players, two All-Region XII players and one NJCAA All-American.

The 2009 Central Catholic High School graduate played two years of varsity volleyball with the Irish, and she helped lead her team to a state championship her junior year.

Following her high school career, Gbur played one year of collegiate volleyball at Baldwin Wallace University. Later in college, she transferred to the University of Toledo, where she played on their club team her senior year. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology in 2013.

In terms of coaching, Gbur has coached at Toledo Volleyball Club (TVC) for two years, the Notre Dame Academy freshman team for one year and Central Catholic High School's JV team for two years.
