Raine served as the recruiting coordinator for the men's basketball program and handled many of the day-to-day operations while playing a key role in academic supervising. On the court, he worked closely with the post players, as well in assisting with game planning and strategy.

In his four years, the program went 94-29 and sent 18 players to four-year schools, including seven to NCAA Division I schools - most recently Xavier Cochran to the University of Albany. Additionally, he has coached 14 all-conference players and three All-Americans.

In 2015-16, Raine was integral in leading Owens to an 18-13 mark overall and a 9-5 finish in OCCAC play. The team advanced to the Region XII District 11 quarterfinals and produced a pair of four-year signees in Cochran and Dilyn Good (NCAA Division II Walsh University). In addition to that, Cochran and fellow freshman Derrik Jamerson Jr. each garnered All-OCCAC recognition.

In 2014-15, Raine helped lead Owens to a 25-7 overall record and a 12-2 mark in OCCAC play. The team captured a share of its second straight OCCAC regular season championship and advanced to the Region XII District 11 championship game before falling to Lakeland. Following the season, six players moved on to four-year schools, including NJCAA Third Team All-American John Murry to NCAA Division I Austin Peay State University.

In 2013-14, Raine helped lead Owens to their third straight district championship game appearance, before they lost on a buzzer beater to No. 1 Cincinnati State. Along the way, he helped the team capture their first conference championship since the 2001-02 season. Following the season, all five sophomores moved on to four-year schools, while big man Bikramjit Gill was named a Third Team All-American by the NJCAA.

In his first year, Raine helped the team finish 26-10 overall. Along with way, they captured the Region XII District 11 tournament championship and finished fourth at the NJCAA D-II National Tournament. It was the program's best season in 13 years.

Raine came to Owens from Goshen College, where he spent one season as an assistant coach in the men's basketball program. While there, the team was ranked as high as 12th in the nation, the highest in program history.

Prior to that, Raine was the head student manager for men's basketball at Bowling Green State University from 2008-10. While there, the Falcons captured the regular season MAC championship and earned a bid to the NIT in 2008-09.

While on staff at BGSU, Raine worked with current Owens men's basketball coach Dave Clarke when Clarke was BGSU's director of basketball operations during the 2008-09 season.

In past summers, Raine has spent his time working the camp circuit at several prestigous universities such as Duke, Michigan State, Syracuse, Uconn, Wisconsin and Wake Forest.  He is also the former camp director of Sudden Impact Basketball Camps.  Additionally, he is a member of the National Association of Basketball Coaches and National Association of Collegiate Basketball Managers.

Currently, Raine is working towards a bachelor's degree at the University of Toledo in interdisciplinary studies with a concentration in business management. He previously attended BGSU and earned an associate's degree from Housatonic Community College in Bridgeport, CT.

A native of Shelton, CT, Raine attended St. Joseph High School, where he played for legendary head coach Vito Montelli.
