2014-15: Hein participated in 13 rounds as a sophomore. He averaged 78 strokes over six fall tournaments and 81.4 strokes over seven spring tournaments. In OCCAC play, he averaged 81.2 strokes over six tournaments.

In his two-year career, Hein participated in 40 rounds and averaged 79.6 strokes over that time.

2013-14: Hein participated in 27 tournaments as a freshman while averaging 79.5 strokes per 18 holes. He shot a season-low 72 on April 9.

Prior to Owens: Hein was state finalist, an All-Big 8 conference selection and an All-Big 8 medalist at Jasper High School. As a junior, he helped lead Jasper to a third place finish at state, and he tied for 20th place individually. He was coached by Steve Milligan.

Personal: Dru is the son of Jeremy and Tasia. He has one sister, Elyssa ("E.V.").
