Owens Career: In 2002, he compiled an undefeated 3-0 record with a 3.01 earned run average in 36 innings.

High School: 2001 Gibsonburg High School graduate, Gibsonburg, Ohio, where he was a Second Team and a three-year Honorable Mention All-Suburban Lakes League selection and honored as the team's MVP as a junior and senior.  He also was a member of the football and basketball teams.
