Tiffani Blackman, who focuses on working with the guards, is in her third year as an assistant women's basketball coach at Owens Community College in 2017-18. In her two seasons, the team has compiled a 60-8 record overall and a 30-0 record in Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) play with a pair of conference titles.

In 2016-17, Blackman helped Owens finish 31-1 overall, which included the school's first ever undefeated regular season (30-0). In conference play, the team finished 16-0 to win its fifth straight OCCAC championship. The team's season ended in the Region XII District I championship game. Overall, the team broke 15 program team records, while Jeryn Reese became the program's all-time career rebound leader and Ariel Bethea became the program's single season and career steal leader.

In Blackman's first year, Owens registered 17 straight wins at one point en route to finishing 29-7 overall and a perfect 14-0 in conference play. In the postseason, Owens captured the Region XII District I championship and finished fifth at the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II National Tournament.

Furthermore, four players earned All-OCCAC honors, led by freshman Jeryn Reese, who captured OCCAC Player of the Year recognition. Another one of those players, sophomore guard Lakyn Gulley, was named First Team All-OCCAC and signed with NCAA Division I Southeast Missouri State University following the season. With the instruction of Blackman throughout the season, Gulley broke four program records.

Blackman spent the 2014-15 season as the JV head coach and varsity assistant coach at Rogers High School in Toledo, Ohio. While there, she led the JV team to a city championship, while the varsity team won the city championship and advanced all the way to the state championship game before falling to Kettering Archbishop Alter.

Prior to getting into coaching, Blackman was a member of the women's basketball team at Seton Hall University from 2010-12 before transferring back home to play at Lourdes University, where she averaged 11.8 points and 10.8 rebounds per game from 2012-14. While with Lourdes, she was a two-time team captain a two-time Wolverine-Hoosier Conference All-Academic team selection.

Blackman, a two-time Dean's List selection at Lourdes, graduated with a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance in May 2014. She finished with a 3.38 GPA.

Outside of coaching, Blackman works at PNC Bank as a Branch Financial Sales Consultant, where she has been employed since August 2014. She is also a Notary Public in the state of Ohio.

Blackman prepped at Start High School in Toledo, Ohio, where she led the Spartans to a state runner-up finish her junior year. She earned All-Toledo City League honors and was an ESPN Top 100 player during her time there.
