Owens Women Fall Victim To No .17 Schoolcraft In 2-0 Road Loss

Livonia, Mich.---The No. 17 Schoolcraft College women's soccer team shut out Owens Community College 2-0 today.

Owens was efficient in shots as they played seven of eight on frame, but Schoolcraft's Katelyn Dangelmaier made seven saves to keep Owens scoreless.

Chelsie Randolph (Start/Toledo, Ohio) produced eight saves for Owens in goal. The Owens offense was led by Jordyn Wright (Riverdale/Forest, Ohio), who had three shots total (two on goal). Shelby Antonacci (Lake/Perrysburg, Ohio) had both of her shots saved by Dangelmaier.

Tiffany Gales scored 12 minutes into the game to give Schoolcraft the lead. An own goal by Owens in the second half provided the two-goal margin.

With the loss, Owens drops to 5-3-1 overall, while Schoolcraft remains undefeated at 5-0.

Owens will be back in action Monday with a 5 p.m. road tilt with Mercyhurst North East Community College.
