Toledo, Ohio---Haley Malaczewski (Central Catholic/Toledo, Ohio) was named the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I women's soccer player of the week today.
She becomes the first player in program history to achieve the honor. On Oct. 17, 2012, Erika Brinkman (Kalida/Cloverdale, Ohio) was named the NJCAA Division I goalkeeper of the week.

Then, she picked up a goal and an assist in each of the team's wins over Lake Michigan College and Muskegon Community College on Saturday and Sunday.

The Owens women's soccer team is 8-3-1 overall. They will take a three-game winning streak into their next matchup - Sunday at 3 p.m. at home vs Delta College.
