Toledo, OH---A scoreless first half match became a 3-2 loss for the No. 15 Express men's soccer team against Morton College at home today.

Glenroy Miller had a great chance to put Owens up 1-0 early as it was just him and the goalie, but the sophomore forward banged it off the crossbar. Nickyle Webber then missed a follow-up chance, and it would come back to haunt the Express.

Misael Martinez put Morton College up 1-0 at the 65:20 mark when his shot from a distance was just high enough to out-reach Express goalkeeper Josh Kleinow's reach.

Just over six minutes later, at the 71:47 mark, Webber answered back on a free kick for the Express to tie the game.

Morton College, however, scored the next two goals as Ignacio Garcia (76:31) and Damien McGee (86:37) put their team up 3-1.

Miller added a goal in the final minute, his 12th of the season, but it wasn't enough as Owens lost for just the second time this year.

Kleinow made seven saves for the Express, while Miguel Chacon saved four shots on goal for Morton College.

Owens was without several key players in the match including Brandon Cruz, Novak Vuk Janicic, Virgil Garcia, Piet-Lennart Louwes and Troy Watson.

The Express (6-2-1) will have the next two days off before traveling to Mentor, OH to take on Lakeland Community College. It will be an OCCAC matchup for the two teams.
