Express Defeat Lorain after Head to Head Well fought Battle
Feb 14, 2023

Congratulations to the Owens Express Men's Basketball team for their impressive victory over Lorain Community College! It's always a great feeling to see a team rise to victory after a hard-fought match 76 to 71.

The leadership of head coach Joell Heidelberg and the assistant coach, Marcus Evans. these two men are rising above the challenges of a building program as each game they are neck and neck with their competitors and they are meshing together equipped to take on their next challenge against Terra State Next week. Mens Express Basketball are playing and working together as a team in a fierce amount of hard work and dedication put in at practice and strategic planning to guide a team to victory, and it seems like Heidelberg and Evans has done an excellent job in their first year as head coaches. We would also like to welcome Cornelius Hester to our building program as our new recruiting coordinator for the Express!

It's great to see that the Owens Express Men's Basketball team is performing well and working together effectively on the court. The eight players you listed seem to be making a significant impact on the team's success.

Although the overall record of 7 wins and 15 losses may not be ideal, it's important to remember that every game is an opportunity to learn and improve. It's impressive that the team has won 4 out of their 12 games in the OCCAC conference, which is no easy feat.

Scoring an average of 67 points per game shows that the team is capable of putting up a good fight against their opponents. It's essential to have a strong offense and defense, and it seems like the Express is doing a great job in both areas.

With their pedal to the metal and dedication, I'm sure they will continue to rise to the occasion and achieve great things. Go Express!

With the season nearing an end, it's important for the team to continue their momentum and stay focused on their goals. It's great to see that they have the opportunity for a rematch next week with Lorain Community College. I wish them the best of luck in their upcoming games and hope they continue to rise to the challenge. Go Express!
